Prepare for your store delivery

Make sure the item is paid for and ready to collect at the store. If you ordered online with click-and-collect, check that you've received confirmation that the item is available. Have your home address and any door codes ready. Measure doorways and stairwells if it involves heavy or bulky items like fridges, washing machines or large furniture. Check that the van can park near the entrance at your home. The more information you provide when booking, the smoother the delivery will be.

Furniture delivery from store

Furniture is our most common store delivery. You've found the perfect sofa at IKEA, a solid dining table at Mio or a wardrobe at JYSK — but it won't fit in your car. With Ungdomskraft's store delivery we pick up your furniture directly from the store. We load flatpack packages or ready-assembled furniture into the van, protect everything with blankets and straps and drive to your home. There we carry inside through stairwells and doorways and place the packages or furniture where you want them. Many of our customers tell us they now shop completely differently at furniture stores — they dare to buy large, heavy pieces they could never have taken home on their own. We handle everything from a single bookshelf to an entire room of flatpack packages. Need help with assembly? Describe it when booking and we can arrange that too.

Appliance and electronics delivery

Appliances and large electronics are heavy, fragile and often require special handling. A fridge weighs 70–90 kg, a washing machine around 80 kg and a 65-inch TV needs careful handling to avoid damage. Stores' own delivery options rarely include carrying upstairs — or charge extra per floor. With Ungdomskraft, carrying to the right spot in your home is always included, regardless of floor. We pick up your appliance or TV from the store, protect it during transport and carry inside to its place. We handle Elgiganten, Power and all other electronics and appliance stores. Note that we are responsible for transport and carrying — connecting water, electricity and plumbing needs to be arranged separately if required.

Building materials delivery

Building projects require materials that rarely fit in a car — plasterboard, timber, tiles, paint tins and heavy tools. Making multiple trips to Bauhaus, Byggmax or K-Rauta wastes time and fuel. With our store delivery we pick up all materials in a single trip. We load the van at the store and deliver directly to your project — home, cabin or workplace. We carry the materials where you need them, whether that's up to the third floor or into a garage. Perfect for renovation projects where you need large quantities of materials quickly and conveniently.

The whole process typically takes 1–3 hours depending on distance and amount. You can follow the status in real time.

Which stores do you pick up from?

We pick up from all stores in Stockholm and Gothenburg. The most common are Elgiganten, Power, IKEA, JYSK, Mio, Rusta, Jula, Bauhaus, K-Rauta, Byggmax and Biltema — but we collect from any store. Just enter the store address when booking. We also pick up items ordered online with click-and-collect, returned goods going back to the store and items from multiple stores in the same trip if they're within a reasonable distance.
