Preparing for appliance transport

Empty and defrost fridges and freezers at least 24 hours before transport. Turn off water and electricity to washing machines and dishwashers. Empty the washing machine filter and drain the hose. Make sure there is clear access through doors, stairs and corridors — measure doorway widths if space is tight. Have the address and door code ready for both pickup and delivery. If appliances need connecting at the delivery address, make sure water and electrical connections are in place.

Collecting appliances from Blocket, Facebook and stores

Found a washing machine on Blocket? Bought a fridge on Facebook Marketplace? Or ordered a dishwasher from Elgiganten that you need collecting? We drive and pick up the appliances for you, wherever they are. Enter the seller's address as the pickup point and your home address as the delivery address — we take care of the rest. We carry out of the seller's home, load, drive and carry in at yours. Perfect when you're buying second-hand and don't have access to a car or van, or when you'd rather not carry 80 kg up the stairs.

Appliance transport when moving

Taking the appliances with you to your new home? We collect washing machines, fridges, freezers, dishwashers and cookers from your old home, disconnect, carry out, protect and transport to your new address. There we carry in and place everything. Appliances need extra care during a move — they're heavy, have sensitive components and must be transported upright (especially fridges and freezers). Our young workers are trained to handle appliances safely and know how to avoid damage to both the product and the property. Feel free to combine with our moving help if you have more items to move.

• Hand truck & straps We use professional hand trucks and carrying straps that distribute weight evenly — safe on stairs and in lifts.
• Protective blankets Appliances are wrapped in protective blankets so neither the product nor your walls, floors and door frames get damaged.
• Upright transport Fridges and freezers are always transported standing up to protect the compressor and refrigerant.
• Disconnection & connection We disconnect water and electricity at pickup and can connect at delivery if you want.
• Insurance Every transport is insured. If anything gets damaged, we compensate for it.

Appliance transport does not qualify for the Swedish RUT tax deduction, but several of our other services do – including moving help, carrying help and furniture assembly with a 50% deduction on the labour cost. Feel free to combine services in a single booking.
