Prepare for your Mio delivery

Make sure the purchase is paid for and ready for collection — ask Mio staff whether the furniture is ready to pick up. Have your home address and any door codes ready. Measure doorways, stairwells and lifts in advance — especially for large sofas and beds. If old furniture needs to be removed first, make sure the space is clear. Check that the van can park near the entrance at your home. When booking, specify which floor or room the furniture should go to, and whether there are stairs without a lift.

Sofa and armchair delivery from Mio

Mio is known for their quality sofas — everything from compact 2-seaters to large corner sofas and chaise longues in genuine leather or premium fabric. A Mio sofa often weighs 50–100 kg and is sometimes delivered in one piece, sometimes split into sections. Corner sofas can be up to 3 metres long and require careful planning to get through doorways and stairwells. Display pieces and sale sofas also often need to go home the same day — before Mio's own delivery can be arranged. With Ungdomskraft's delivery we pick up your Mio sofa directly at the store, protect with blankets and carry into the living room. We navigate tight stairwells and doorways without damaging the furniture, floors or walls. Need the sofa rotated or angled — we have the experience to make it work.

Bed and mattress delivery from Mio

Mio offers divan beds, bed frames, mattresses, mattress toppers and headboards in high quality. A divan bed from Mio often weighs 80–120 kg in total — split between base, top mattress and headboard. These parts are bulky and heavy to carry, especially on stairs. Mattresses and toppers in larger sizes (160–180 cm) are also unwieldy to transport without the right vehicle. With our delivery we pick up the entire bed package at Mio, transport safely in the van and carry into the bedroom. We place the parts in position and remove packaging material if you wish. Perfect if you've bought a bed at Mio's warehouse sale or don't want to wait weeks for Mio's own delivery.

Dining set and storage delivery from Mio

Mio's solid-wood dining tables are popular — they often weigh 40–80 kg and come assembled or in heavy sections. A dining set with table and six chairs quickly becomes a logistics project: the table alone requires at least two people to lift, and the chairs take up lots of space. Bookcases, sideboards, TV units and display cabinets from Mio are often in solid materials or veneer — heavy and delicate. We place the table in the kitchen, the bookcase in the living room and the TV unit against the wall — no need to move heavy furniture afterwards.

We collect from all Mio stores

We pick up from all Mio stores in Stockholm and Gothenburg. In Stockholm: Barkarby, Kungens Kurva, Nacka, Täby and all others. In Gothenburg: Kållered, Bäckebol and all other locations. We also collect from Mio's warehouses and outlets. Just enter the store or warehouse address when booking and we handle the rest. Picking up furniture from Mio and another store the same day? We can collect from multiple locations in the same trip.

We recycle packaging materials — cardboard, polystyrene, plastic and corner protectors are sorted correctly after delivery. For companies ordering Mio deliveries we offer documentation for CSR reporting — every booking supports youth employment and sustainable logistics.

Everything is fully insured. We have our own vans in multiple sizes — from small vans for an armchair to large vans that fit an entire dining set and wardrobe.
