Prepare for your IKEA delivery

Make sure the purchase is paid for and ready for collection. If you shopped in store, have your receipt or order number ready. If you ordered online with click-and-collect, check that you've received confirmation. Have your home address and any door codes ready. Measure doorways and stairwells if the packages are large — a PAX wardrobe frame is 236 cm long in the package. Check that the van can park near the entrance at your home. When booking, specify how many packages and which furniture items — it helps us choose the right van size.

IKEA wardrobe and storage system delivery

PAX wardrobes and BESTÅ storage systems are among IKEA's most popular products — and among the hardest to get home. A standard PAX wardrobe with 2–3 frames, shelves, drawers and doors quickly becomes 5–8 packages weighing 80–150 kg in total. The packages are long (up to 236 cm), heavy and difficult to handle alone. With Ungdomskraft's IKEA delivery we pick up all packages at the store, load efficiently into the van and drive to your home. We carry all packages through stairwells and doorways and place them in the right room — ready to assemble. The same applies to BILLY bookcases, KALLAX shelves, HEMNES dressers and all other storage solutions. We handle everything from a single package to a complete wardrobe solution with 15+ packages.

IKEA kitchen delivery

Buying a new kitchen at IKEA is a big project — and transport is often the most underestimated part. A complete METOD kitchen can consist of 20–40 packages: frames, doors, drawer inserts, worktops, cabinets and accessories. The total weight can exceed 200 kg. With Ungdomskraft we pick up your entire kitchen in a single trip. We load all packages into the van, secure properly and drive to your home. We carry all packages into the kitchen and place them sorted — so your kitchen installer or you can easily start assembling. We also handle IKEA appliances (fridges, dishwashers, extractor hoods) that are often part of the kitchen order.

IKEA sofa and bed delivery

IKEA sofas like KIVIK, FRIHETEN and EKTORP come both in flatpack and as ready-assembled display models. Flatpack versions can consist of 3–5 packages, while ready-assembled sofas need a van due to their size. IKEA beds like MALM, HEMNES and BRIMNES with matching mattress often become 3–4 heavy packages. We pick up everything at IKEA, protect with blankets during transport and carry inside to the right spot in your home. We pick up from all IKEA stores in Stockholm and Gothenburg. In Stockholm: IKEA Kungens Kurva, IKEA Barkarby and IKEA Järfälla/Upplands Väsby. In Gothenburg: IKEA Kållered, IKEA Bäckebol and others. We also pick up from IKEA's delivery collection points. Just enter the store address when booking and we handle the rest. Shopping at IKEA and another store the same day? We can pick up from multiple locations in the same trip.
