Measure your furniture and check that it fits through doorways and stairwells at both addresses. Large items like wardrobes, bed frames and dining tables are often quicker to move in pieces — disassemble them beforehand if you can, or let us do it. Collect screws and fittings in labelled bags. Empty drawers and shelves before we arrive — it makes the furniture lighter and reduces the risk of items falling out. Make sure there is clear access and that the van can park close to the entrance at both addresses.
