Preparing for dishwasher transport

Turn off the water tap to the dishwasher and unplug it. Ideally run an empty cycle the day before so the machine drains properly. Disconnect the drain hose from the sink trap if you can — otherwise we'll handle it. Make sure there is clear passage through the kitchen door and out to the stairs or lift. Measure the doorway width if you suspect it might be tight — a standard dishwasher is 60 cm wide. Have the door code and address ready for both pickup and delivery. If the dishwasher needs connecting at the delivery address, check that water, drainage and electricity are in place.

Replacing your dishwasher — we bring the new one and take the old

Replacing your old dishwasher? We can collect the new one from the store or seller, drive to your home, carry it into the kitchen and connect it. At the same time we disconnect the old dishwasher and carry it out. Want to get rid of it completely? We can take it to an approved recycling station in the same trip. No need for two separate bookings — everything happens in one go.

Dishwasher transport when moving

Taking the dishwasher with you to your new home? We disconnect water and electricity, detach the drain hose, carry the dishwasher out of your old kitchen, wrap it in protective blankets and load the van. At the delivery address we carry in and place the dishwasher — and connect it if you like. Dishwashers need extra care during a move: water connections must be properly shut off so nothing leaks, and the machine should be transported upright to stop water running into the electronics. Our young workers are trained to handle dishwashers safely. Feel free to combine with our moving help if you have more items to move.
