Prepare for your Bauhaus delivery

Make sure the purchase is paid for and ready for collection. Have your home address and any door codes ready. If you've bought heavy building materials, list the heaviest items so we can choose the right van size. Check that the van can park near the entrance or garage at your home. If materials are going to a specific location — the bathroom, garage, workshop — make sure the path is clear. When booking, specify any special requests, such as carrying tiles up to the second floor or placing timber in the garage.

Building material and timber delivery from Bauhaus

Bauhaus has one of the market's widest ranges of building materials — timber in all dimensions, studs, plasterboard, OSB boards, plywood, insulation, cement, concrete, filler and bulk-pack screws. These products are almost always too heavy, long or bulky for a regular car. 4–5 metre timber sticks out, plasterboard is 2.4 metres long and weighs 25–30 kg each, insulation bales take up enormous space and cement bags weigh 25 kg apiece. A single bathroom renovation can mean 200–400 kg of materials. With Ungdomskraft's delivery we pick up everything at Bauhaus, load methodically into the van and drive to your home. We carry to the build site, garage or storage room — wherever the renovation is taking place. The perfect complement for DIY enthusiasts who don't have access to a pickup truck or trailer.

Tile, ceramic and flooring delivery from Bauhaus

Bauhaus offers an enormous selection of ceramic tiles, porcelain tiles, mosaic, laminate flooring, hardwood and vinyl. Tile boxes weigh 20–30 kg each — a full bathroom typically requires 10–20 boxes, meaning 200–600 kg in total. Laminate or hardwood flooring packs weigh 15–25 kg each and you often need 8–15 packs for one room. These heavy, stacked goods are extremely impractical to transport in a car — they strain the suspension, take up all the space and require multiple trips. With our delivery we collect all the boxes at Bauhaus, load them securely in the van and drive to your home. We carry inside to the bathroom, hallway, kitchen or whichever room the floor is being laid in.

Bathroom and plumbing delivery from Bauhaus

Bauhaus has one of the market's largest bathroom departments — tempered glass shower screens, basins, toilets, bathtubs, shower enclosures, bathroom furniture and all the plumbing you need. Shower screens must be transported upright and protected against impacts, a bathtub weighs 30–80 kg depending on material, and porcelain toilets are heavy and fragile. Many customers buy complete bathroom packages at Bauhaus — everything from tiles to taps — and the total volume and weight becomes enormous. With Ungdomskraft we collect your entire bathroom order from Bauhaus and drive it home.
